The Body Remembers, Live: An Hour with Babette Rothschild

Presented by Babette Rothschild, MSW, LCSW

A live fireside conversation on trauma, the body, and clinical practice.

4 February 2027 · 8.00 – 9.00am (UTC+08:00)
Singapore time (UTC+08:00)
Free to attend
SGD 30 for CPD letter of attendance
Practitioners based in the Asia-Pacific region
About this webinar

This is a live fireside conversation with Babette Rothschild, internationally recognised author and trainer on trauma, the body, and the nervous system. Rather than a fixed lecture, the hour will be shaped by your questions on trauma and clinical practice — for example, how different trauma types inform treatment, how the SIBAM model can be used as a framework for understanding and managing vicarious trauma, or how to 'pull the brakes' and support parasympathetic regulation during sessions. Because time is limited and interest is likely to be high, questions will be collected in advance through the registration form so we can curate and pose as many as possible during the session.

About the presenter
Babette Rothschild, MSW, LCSW

Babette Rothschild is a pioneer in somatic trauma treatment, a psychotherapist since 1976 and a trainer since 1992. She is the author of nine books, translated into more than 22 languages, all published by W. W. Norton, including the classic bestseller The Body Remembers (2000) and Revolutionizing Trauma Treatment (2017, 2021). Her original table for differentiating six levels of sympathetic and parasympathetic arousal states has been translated into 29 languages and is cited in peer-reviewed journals and praised as a valuable addition to trauma therapy practice. After living 9 years in Copenhagen, Denmark, she returned to her native Los Angeles from where she continues to lecture, train, and supervise professionals around the world.
