Therapy where it counts
Home-based clinical interventions for agoraphobia and OCD — delivering evidence-based therapy in the environments where change is needed most.
For some presentations, the most meaningful therapeutic work cannot happen in a consulting room. Agoraphobia and OCD, in particular, are conditions where difficulties are often most acute — and most treatable — in the specific environments where they arise: inside the home, navigating everyday routines, or confronting situations that clinic-based sessions cannot replicate.
Where clinically appropriate, ICPA offers structured home visits as part of an individualised treatment plan. This allows evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to be conducted directly in the context where change is needed most, supporting clients to generalise therapeutic gains into real life.
Home visits at ICPA are
Clinically led
Offered only where a home visit is assessed to be the most appropriate mode of intervention — not as a default or convenience option.
Carefully assessed
Every home visit is preceded by a clinical suitability review and safety assessment.
Structured and safe
All visits are conducted with appropriate safety protocols in place.
Part of a broader plan
Home visits complement, rather than replace, the overall course of therapy.
If you are living with agoraphobia or OCD and wondering whether home-based intervention might be right for you, we welcome you to get in touch to discuss your situation. You can also register for psychotherapy directly.
